1st Evesham 1st Hampton Cubs meet weekly at Hampton Scout and Guide HQ during term time.  We welcome both boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 ½ .

Our Scouting activities range from fire lighting and cooking on fires, to knot tying and pioneering. Craft activities and team building exercises form part of our programme, as well as map reading, tent pitching and generally being outdoors - learning skills for life in a fun way!

As a minimum, we aim to offer at least one night hike with a sleepover, and a weekend camp each year.  In previous years, given the opportunity, we have taken the Cubs on day trips and activity days.

We participate in the annual St Georges Day Parade and   the local Remembrance Day Service.

Cubs can earn over 40 different activity badges and 7 challenge badges, with the aim of achieving the highest award in Cubs - the Chief Scout Silver Award.

The Cub uniform consists of a green jumper, worn with the group neckerchief.  Badges are issued during the investiture ceremony, when Cubs make their promise and become a member of Scouting.

CUB SCOUT PROMISE

I promise that I will do my best

To do my duty to God and to the Queen

To help other people

And to keep the Cub Scout Law
